Casa Madrona Hotel — They have been aggressively remodeling the older sections of this hotel, which includes Victorian era gingerbread architecture. Also includes an ultra modern suite for small receptions.
Cavallo Point Resort — Classic buildings converted from beautifully designed old officers quarters at a 19th century military base, gourmet restaurant, view of the Golden Gate Bridge. They can handle large events as well as small ones.
Christ Episcopal Church, 70 Santa Rosa Ave. Sausalito CA 94965 415-332-1539 Campbell Hall and Gardens are a lovely spot for weddings.
Empress Cruises & Events of Sausalito at Clipper Yacht Harbor, 310 Harbor Drive, Sausalito CA 94965; Offices at 3020 Bridgeway Blvd. Suite 271, Sausalito CA 94965, Toll Free number 888-922-4898. They offer wedding and rehearsal dinner cruises.

Ondine — Upstairs in the same building as the Trident, this elegant restaurant is used only for special events and has fabulous views.
Pelican Inn 10 Pacific Way, Muir Beach, California 94965 415.383.6000, is located close to the ocean in the tiny village of Muir Beach. 9 miles (15 km.) northwest of Sausalito via a 2-lane mountain highway.
Poggio — This high-end Italian restaurant, built into the Casa Madrona Hotel, has a number of very elegant private dining rooms of various sizes. We’ve hosted events there and were very pleased with the management and the service. (Note: Poggio subsequently became a sponsor of this website.)
Sausalito Yacht Club — PO Box 267, Sausalito, CA 94966 415-332-7400 Fabulous views from their clubhouse by the Ferry pier.
The Spinnaker — Restaurant on a pier that juts out over the Bay, with a large banquet room with spectacular views.
St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 180 Harrison Ave. Sausalito CA 94965, has a beautiful old building on the hill with lovely views from some areas. 415-332-1765
Sausalito Presbyterian Church, 112 Bulkley Ave. Sausalito CA 94965 is on the hill above downtown Sausalito and has some terrific views. 415-332-3790
Sausalito Woman’s Club — Lovely venue high on the hill overlooking the Bay and San Francisco, but allowed to have only 12 weddings a year so talk to them as early as you can. Inquiries mus be by email (no calls) via Susan Cullen at rentals@sausalitowomansclub.org.
