Sausalito’s Souper Bowl

Place: Three Sausalito neighborhoods within walking distance of each other: the Bridgeway Promenade, the central Downtown & Ferry Pier and Caledonia St. / New Town. (See map below)
Time: 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Cost: $25 – You can purchase your tickets from the city, In theory you can buy tickets on site at the event, but for the last couple of years they sold out prior to the Souper Bowl, so I advise advance tickets.

What would you get if you crossed a gourmet cook-off with a walking tour? Well, our ever-ingenious Sausalito Dept. of Parks and Recreation has answered this question by creating the Sausalito Souper Bowl, which fills the dead weekend before the Super Bowl with souped-up levels of joy.
Apart from being fun (and running up some steps on your Fitbit), the event is also a great deal. For $15 you get a ticket to visit a series of twelve (or more) great Sausalito restaurants and sample their specialty soup. When you’ve completed your gourmet walk you then cast a vote for the winning bowl.
