Sausalito Easter Parade and Egg Hunt 2024
Date: Saturday, March 30, 2024 (Rain or shine! And the current forecast says there may be rain…)
Events and Times:
9:45 AM — Families line up for the Sausalito Easter Parade at 9:45 AM at the Fire Station, corner of Johnson St. & Caledonia St.
10:00 AM — Parade starts, goes to Dunphy Park — see map below
10:15 AM — Sausalito Easter Egg Hunt, broken into rounds by age.
10:30 AM — Live music after the hunt, with InHarmony Music.
11:00 AM — Kids Easter Bonnet Contest Judged by the Sausalito Woman’s Club — kids get to show off their home-made Easter / Spring style hats on a runway!
11:30 AM — Adult Egg Hunt (UPDATE: SOLD OUT FOR 2024). Adults will compete for over $3,000 in prizes donated by local businesses as they search for over 3000 eggs! Be sure to bring your own Easter Basket. There’s one catch: all contestants have to wear bunny ears while they search! (And I’m not joking!)
Adult Egg Hunt C0ntestants: be sure to check in between 10:30 and 11:15 AM to make sure you have your wristband and those mandatory bunny ears. Names of those who’ve signed up will be on a list at the wristband/ears distribution point at the blue Recreation tent, located near the Dunphy Park bocce courts.
Despite their very busy schedule, the Easter Bunny will once again attend Sausalito’s annual Easter Parade and Egg Hunt event. This is another advantage of Sausalito’s natural beauty and our ability to attract big celebrities like the EB!
Bravo to the City of Sausalito and its Park and Rec Dept. for taking the time to put on events for kids and families.
