City-Wide Sausalito Yard Sale
Next Date: Saturday, April 27, 2024. (Postponed because am 80% chance for hours of rain had been forecast for April 13.) There is no planned October sale in Sausalito this year, so we only have the April event.
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Place: Martin Luther King School parking lot, 610 Coloma St., Sausalito CA (See map below)
Cost: Free to buyers
The City-Wide Sausalito Yard Sale is held twice a year. It gives Sausalito residents, and those of other nearby towns, the chance to sell off under-used, unwanted and invaluable-but-outgrown items. What’s great about this Sausalito yard sale is that it really is a yard sale. There are no craft or food vendors and only garage sale style stuff is available to buy, with over 80 booths for you to peruse. The City proactively screens out any items it does not view as appropriate for a public event where children may be present, so parents are less likely to cringe when a child points to something and asks, “What’s that?”
Want to sell at the Sausalito yard sale? Residents of the 94965 Zip Code (Sausalito, Marin City and Muir Beach) get a discount on seller’s tables and first choice on locations. Resident registration for booths opens ONLINE at 9:00 AM on Monday, March 21, 2022. Registration for non-Sausalito residents is also ONLINE Tuesday, April 4, 2022 at 9:00 AM.
Spaces rent for between $25-$30 each. You can find more information, including a map of the event, here.
There will also be local agency disaster preparedness booths with important information for Sausalito residents.
The MLK gym bathrooms will be open for this event.
