Louie’s Deli
We are sorry to report that Louie’s Deli closed in mid-2020, after the death of its beloved owner and manager, Maurice Franjieh.
Forget Red States and Blue States. Here in Sausalito the never-ending local debate is which local deli is the best? Many of the artists and people who work in the offices in northern Sausalito swear by the Mediterranean food served at Louie’s Delicatessen and Coffee Shop, which also serves breakfast dishes like breakfast burritos. Good sandwiches and friendly service. If you start a new job in the area they’ll be greeting you as a regular here after your first week, which is a great thing in an era where many deli’s just “work the line.”
