Winship Restaurant (Closed)
Winship has now closed (as of Spring, 2012) and been replaced with Napa Valley Burger Company. This leaves a hole in our hearts, since two generations of our family viewed Winship as a welcoming comfort-food spot.
Winship Restaurant is a long-time Sausalito fixture that dates back to the early 1960’s, and inhabits the oldest brick building (1875) in Sausalito. It now serves just breakfast and lunch. We have spent many mornings here over the years with their French Toast or Eggs Benedict, and for one of our editors this was a favorite weekend breakfast spot as he was growing up.
