The Bay Model Visitors Center is a great spot to visit for both adults and kids, and gives you a great feel for water issues in Northern California. The only way I can explain it is to tell you "It's bigger than you think it could possibly be until you see it."
On June 21 kids can help Ranger Bill Cope feed the inhabitants of the Model's fresh and salt water tanks. They'll get to watch the different feeding styles of perch, crabs, sea stars, and steelhead trout. This special event makes June 21 a great day to visit the Model
