Caffe DiVino Gets Unplanned Remodel
Caffe DiVino on Caledonia St. has brand new front windows that open. Only they hadn't planned to have brand new front windows that open!
A few weeks ago a musician was moving the piano that graces the front area near the bar, and apparently missed the geometric analysis that the length of the piano legs exceeded the height of the window sill. So when the piano was turned at the wrong angle, crash! We all know that feeling of "Oh, my God, I messed up big time…"
The nicest part of the story is that local fans put on a fundraiser, neighbors have helped out and the new — operable — windows are now installed.
And if someone ever asks me to help move a piano I'm never standing anywhere close to a window!
