OurSausalito.com Announces New Online Literary Magazine: Sausalito Stories

OurSausalito.com has announced the introduction of its Sausalito Stories^TM online literary magazine, a new section of the website devoted to fiction set in Sausalito or written by Sausalito authors. Authors and poets are invited to submit their work to the new publication via email.

The first piece published in the new online venue is a mystery story titled Barge Right In by Riette Gallienne. "I'm thrilled to have my mystery be the first entry in Sausalito Stories," Gallienne said, "though I admit I have a lot to learn about the online world and social media."

Barge Right In isn't just set in Sausalito, it's based on very recent local events including the appearance of a large crane and barge next to Scoma's Restaurant last month.

"What's so great about online publishing," says author Gallienne, is that I can see the barge in June, get the idea for a story, and here it is available on Sausalito Stories in July. The first time I sold a story to a major magazine it took them almost two years to get around to publishing it!"
