Best Hotel Space for Sausalito Art Festival Going Fast
One of the things we always try to do is alert our readers to timelines for popular future events so you can make reservations before opportunities dry up. We've now reached that point for hotel space in Sausalito during the Sausalito Art Festival over Labor Day Weekend, September 4-7. If you're coming from out of town, you need to book soon to get a good spot.
If possible, you want to stay at a hotel in downtown Sausalito if you're coming from outside the area, and book your room well in advance. All the downtown hotels are within walking distance of the Festival, a major convenience. Some local hotels have a mix of great and not-so-great rooms, so booking sooner rather than later is key. Another option: Stay in a hotel at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and take a Blue and Gold Ferry to te event. Although both ferry services serve downtown, about 5 blocks from the Festival, Blue and Gold has a special schedule with ferries going directly to a dedicated pier at the Art Festival.
