“Our” Mega-Yacht Attessa Heads North to Vancouver
We have to admit it, talking about the Attessa, the huge black and white yacht that has been achored off Sausalito since early summer, has been a lot of fun. Everyone who came to town asked about it, and being the ones who identified the boat and its billionaire owner made us feel like Sherlock Holmes.
Now we’ll have to uncover new conspiracy theories, because this morning the Attessa set sail for its northern home in Vancouver. It’s currently off the Point Reyes National Seashore, traveling northwest at 11.6 knots (13.3 mph). Presumably it will enjoy the rest of the summer there before heading to its historical favorite wintering spots like Hawaii and Cabo San Lucas.
