Last Minute Hotel Rooms for the Sausalito Art Festival
We've been alerting out-of-town readers for some time that rooms for the Art Festival weekend (also known as Labor Day Weekend in less civilized climes) should be reserved well in advance. Here's a partial listing of places still available for visitors to stay as of midnight August 26, 2009:
In Sausalito (all but Cavallo Point Lodge are in downtown Sausalito):
Casa Madrona: Limited rooms available for night of Sept. 4 only.
Cavallo Point: Rooms still available for the entire weekend.
Gables Inn: Rooms available Sept. 4 and Sept. 6, sold out Sept. 5
Hotel Sausalito: No rooms available.
Inn Above Tide: Limited rooms available for night of Sept. 6 only.
In Mill Valley:
Acqua Hotel: Rooms still available for the entire weekend
Holiday Inn Express: Rooms still available for the entire weekend.
