Documentary Crew Filming at Sausalito Art Festival Monday
So tonight I'm thinking, maybe I'll catch the director's eye when the camera scans the crowd Monday at the Sausalito Art Festival's Woodstock tribute concert. With my Tom Cruise looks, Bruce Willis magnetism, Yo-Yo Ma cultural sensitivity and Maya Angelou sense of history, perhaps the camera will linger on me for a moment.
So this leads to the question: tie-dye or T-shirt? Nostalgic or contemporary?
The film crews at the Festival will be shooting for “The Road Back to Woodstock,” a 2D/3D film that brings audiences the 40th Anniversary reunion concerts. They covered the concert at Bethel, NY (the site of the original Woodstock Festival) two weeks ago, and Golden Leaf Pictures has acquired the exclusive worldwide rights to film the concerts.
Our local original "heroes of Woodstock" will be performing some of the same songs and sets that made history 40 years ago. Golden Leaf will capture the event with eight state-of-the-art 3-D cameras.
So maybe I don't quite combine all the most attractive features of Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Yo-Yo Ma and Maya Angelou. Maybe none of the eight cameras will linger on my visage. But if they do, they'll see a guy with a big smile who's having a great time!
