Our intrepid Editorial Director managed to walk down the street at the corner of Bridgeway and Caledonia at noon today just after a car at the gas station backed into the fire hydrant, creating this gusher.

A few moments later a city truck appeared, after which the water was turned off, the body of the fallen hydrant was re-righted and the geyser became another Sausalito legend.
