Sausalito Womans Club Fashion Show Sat. May 22

The Sausalito Womans Club 2010 Fashion Show is a charity event that helps finance the Club's scholarship program called the Scholarship Recognition Fund. The effort helps a lot of deserving kids in the Sausalito area, and we're huge fans of the SWC for their work on behalf of these students.

The fashions on the runway in this show will come from local Sausalito shops and boutiques, and will reflect a variety of seasons, activities and styles for both women and men. Before the sartorial parade begins, guests will enjoy a no-host bar with champagne, martinis and the other usual suspects. We are assured that the hors d’oeuvres will be fabulous.

One of the highlights of the event is the selection of the winners of the California Dreamin’ raffle. The California travel destinations in the raffle prizes were donated by Sharon and Judith Lambton, Kate and Dick Powell, Janet and Harry Chapman, Susan Frank, and Dana and Kent Whitson.

Those destinations include a Plumas County Japanese retreat, a Stinson Beach oceanfront home, a West Shore Lake Tahoe getaway, a Bolinas Barn retreat or a Southern California ocean view spot.
