If you missed the Lynn Asher – Cole Tate acoustic night about 3 weeks ago, we're happy to tell you that we all get another chance to hear these two together.

Cole Tate and Lynn Asher both have the power to do electric. That's why it's also nice to hear the subtlety top do acoustic.

Cole has appeared with Los Lobos, Chris Isaak, John Hiatt, Clarence Clemons and Greg Allman.

Lynn is one of the vocalists who steps in to do the Janis Joplin parts with Joplin's old band, Big Brother and the Holding Company. I've heard her — unfortunately not yet with Big Brother — and I can hear why she got such a challenging opportunity. She's played with many other performers, but I just don't know how to top that "takes Joplin's place on her best known songs" testimonial.
