ICB Artists Present "How to Apply for Public Art Projects" June 5

Cost: $10.00 for non-ICB artists; free for ICBAA members

Speaker Crystal Birns and Public Artist Joe Saxe will offer a presentation about taking the step from being a studio artist to being a public artist.

Ms. Birns is manager of the City Arts Program, part of the Economic Development and Redevelopment Department for Santa Cruz's City Government.

Mr. Saxe is a South Bay artist who specializes in public art works and innstallations, as well as private collections.

As the ICB invitation states, "It's hard to underestimate the importance of meaningful public art in our civic environments. This presentation will halp artists learn how to get involved and contribute to such projects."
