Tiffany Beach
Tiffany Beach is the northern mini-extension of Swede’s Beach, and together they represent the site of the first European settlement in Sausalito.
Tiffany Beach is located at the foot of Richardson St., but is only accessible from the foot of Main St. (with some scrambling) or at the foot of Valley St. via Swede’s Beach (via stairs). At low tide you can walk from Swede’s Beach to Tiffany Beach, but at high tide the water cuts off this route.
Note: Since 1952 the Sausalito-Marin City Sanitary District has pumped its sewer effluent into the Bay at the foot of Main St., next to Swede’s Beach. See our comments on this on our Swede’s Beach page.
Note: On the map below you need to use the “+” key to zoom in to see the label for Swede’s Beach, which is at the foot of Valley. St. Its neighbor Tiffany Beach, which is not labeled on the map, is just north of the foot of Main St.
