Sweet Ginger
How would you run a theatre in the time of Julius Caesar if you were four blocks down the street from the Colosseum? OK, we’re probably exaggerating a little, but Sushi Ran has built a regional following (and earned a Michelin star in 2007) as a high-quality sushi restaurant in Sausalito. Sweet Ginger is our city’s only other Japanese food and sushi restaurant, and it’s a scant four blocks away from the sushi-colossus down the street. Their formula for success: lower prices, good food, pleasant service. They’ve built a loyal local following.
Something else that people should know about Sweet Ginger? Do they stop here on the three-hour tours? Should we open a restaurant next door called “Bitter Little Buddy” Or “Mary Anntipasto”? Disagree with any of our suggestions? Please let us know!
