Bacchus and Venus Wine Bar & Art Gallery
The oldest of the wine tasting rooms in Sausalito, Bacchus and Venus has a wine bar and shop downstairs and an art gallery upstairs. They’re located in downtown Sausalito on Bridgeway, close to the Ferry pier (see map below). And, we have to say, it’s nice to work in a town where the the businesses are named after Greek deities!
Insiders Tip: Bacchus and Venus sells pre-selected mixes of crackers, cheese and wine “to go”, which we think is a great idea. Take your treasure trove to one of the benches along the Bridgeway Promenade or just go a block down Anchor St. near the Ferry and have a great picnic with one of the world’s greatest views!
