I always get a big smile on my face every spring when the two different Sausalito ferry services start adding sailings between San Francisco and Sausalito. It means the days are getting longer and the mornings are feeling warmer.
This year the Golden Gate Ferry schedule from Sausalito to the Ferry Building in San Francisco will not be changed for spring. This is not unusual fior a commuter service, but does delay my big grin. They did add one mid-day sailing from Larkspur.
Their next planned schedule adjustment is in just two months, on June 9, when they typically add sailings for the summer visitor season.
In Mid-May the Blue and Gold Fleet will unveil its summer schedule. As a visitor focused link to Fisherman's Wharf this service adds large numbers of sailings every summer and then cuts back every fall.
