Different Sausalito webcam sites show the current view from downtown and from high above the Bay, and a CalTrans traffic came shows current conditions at Highway 101 just north of the Sausalito exit, near the off-ramp for Highway 1.

1. Check the Sausalito Weather: The Sausalito Yacht Club Webcams
Sample frame from a SYC webcam on a foggy day in 2022.
Click here for the view to the north. Click here for the view to the south.
The webcam at the Sausalito Yacht Club (one still frame from a foggy day in 2021 is pictured above) shows the area around the Sausalito Ferry pier, panning between views of The Spinnaker, Angel Island and the San Francisco skyline. This is the best way to check what the current fog levels and weather are like in Sausalito.
This webcam was for many years the standard way to check the views in Sausalito, but eventually was disabled by fog and the influence of salt water. The Yacht Club recently installed a new system, giving all us the benefit of being able to check outside even when we’re stuck in an office with a view of the parking lot!
2. Sausalito and San Francisco Views from the Top of Mt. Tam
.
KGO TV has a Sausalito webcam that looks down towards San Francisco from the top of Mt. Tamalpais. When clouds don’t obscure it the view from over 2,600 feet can be wonderful.
3. Highway 101 Webcam at Spencer Ave., Sausalito Ridgetop
This CalTrans traffic webcam shows current Highway 101 road conditions just north of the Robin Williams Tunnel. This webcam is especially useful for seeing how far traffic has backed up either direction during peak travel times.
4. Sausalito Viewed from San Francisco
The webcam at Crissy Field has several different presets, one of which is Fort Baker. After choosing this option scroll a little to the right and zoom in and you’ll see a live Sausalito webcam shot taken from the angle above.
