We are sorry to report that Gaylord India restaurant in Sausalito has closed down, and that a “For Sale” sign has been placed on the building. When the sign first went up one of our editors inquired and was told the restaurant would remain in operation, but it now appears that this is not the case.
This adds another name to our Restaurants No Longer in Operation page, and reminds us that even with a great view in a popular town like Sausalito, this is still a very tough business.
Gaylord India is a chain of restaurants, and it appears that only Sausalito is affected by the closure.
