Adam Sandler & Seth Rogen want to make you late picking up the kids!
OK, we know that’s not fair but it just feels so good to write ridiculous tabloid headlines!
Kidding aside, here’s the word about this week’s traffic problems caused by a movie shooting on Bridgeway. Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen are indeed here in Sausalito shooting a film. They have been (oh, no!) really nice to people who’ve been coming up to them on the street — check out the comments box at the bottom of this post for more eyewitness details.
The timing suggests the movie may be “Funny People” although IMDB lists it as already being in post-production.
The best scoop we’ve seen was reported to Marin filmmaker and guitar teacher Keith Moore by his brother Jamison. It comes complete with the obligatory Rude Assistant Director moment, but Jamison has added more details in a comment below to give the story context.
Also on the web: A clean-shaven Rogen sighting, which apparently required four hours of stalking before a frontal attack in Starbucks on Princess St.
Two visitors who came through Sausalito on a three-month around-the-world trip (wow…) very matter-of-factly reported seeing Sandler and Rogen, I guess if you’re on a three-month around-the-world trip seeing movie stars in the street is all just part of the experience.
When Jamison Moore (who got yelled at for no reason by the assistant director) gets invited to the movie’s premiere we’re all gonna be so jealous!
