The two most popular Golden Gate Bridge parking lots, those at Vista Point in Marin County and at the Visitor Center and Strauss Plaza in San Francisco, will be closed to passenger vehicles for Super Bowl week each day between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM from Friday, January 29 through Sunday, February 7..

You will be able to take a tour bus or van, a taxi, Uber or Lyft to the lots and be dropped off and picked up. You can ride your bike there. But you will not be allowed to bring your car into the lot.
The goal of the Bridge District and the CHP is to keep traffic moving smoothly on the Bridge and avoid lines — and the inevitable rear-ender collisions — that form on popular days with nice weather. The District also hinted that it may impose similar limitations during popular spring and summer dates next year.
Tour buses will be able to park in the two lots, but taxis and ridesharing vehicles will have to come in with a pick-up already scheduled, find their passengers and then leave immediately. There will be no taxi rank or similar waiting area.
