Each year on July 1 for the last several years, the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District has increased the charges for all its services. The District operates the Golden Gate Bridge, the Golden Gate Ferry (from the Ferry Building to Sausalito, Larkspur and Tiburon) and the Golden Gate Transit bus service that links Marin to San Francisco via the Golden Gate Bridge.
Blue and Gold Fleet ferry service to Sausalito and Tiburon is not affected, nor are Marin Transit buses (which don’t cross the Golden Gate Bridge).
