Click here for our complete guide to the Sausalito Art Festival
The Sausalito Art Festival has released the schedule for almost all of its 2014 musical performances, with a wide array of musical styles and influences.
Insiders Tip: If you enjoy jazz there are two special treats early in the schedule on two different days this year: Lavay Smith and Pete Escovedo. Both deserve to be classified as National Treasures for the musicianship and persistence with which they have preserved and popularized their favorite kinds of music. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom to see Escovedo’s great performance with his daughter Sheila E. at Stern Grove.
Insiders Tip: At least once each time I’m at the Festival I find that the performance on the Artists Stage is more fun, fascinating or just plain fabulous than what’s goingon over at the main stage. It may be smaller, but keep your ears open for what goes on there.
