Sausalito ferries operated by the Golden Gate Bridge District will see fares go up by about 5% on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, and Golden Gate Transit bus fares to San Francisco will increase by 5% as well.
For ferry riders without Clipper Cards that's a 50 cent increase, and about half that if you are a Clipper Card user, since Clipper Cards save you about half of the regular ticket price..
Local Marin bus fares will not be changed on this cycle, which is part of a multi-year gradual fare increase approved by the Bridge District board..
The new Golden Gate Ferry fares are:
Adults $10.75 ($21.50 round trip)
with Clipper Card $5.50 ($11.00 round trip)
Seniors / Disabled / Medicare $5.25 ($10.50 round trip)
Kids Ages 6-19 $5.25 ($10.50 round trip)
Kids 5 and Under Free with paid adult, Max. 2 per adult
