Riders of the Golden Gate Ferry from Sausalito will see adult fares rise by 50 cents to $10.25 on Monday, while Golden Gate Transit bus fares to San Francisco will rise 25 cents to $4.75 as part of a multi-year 5% annual fare increase program.
Clipper Card users will see their Ferry charges rise from $5.00 to $5,25, and Ferry tickets for Seniors, youth and the disabled will increase 25 cents to $5.00. Bus tickets to San Francisco for Youth and Seniors will rise 25 cents to $2.25.
Insiders Tip: Clipper Cards are especially valuable for Sausalito residents and workers. Our non-Clipper ferry tickets are actually more expensive than the fares from the more distant Larkspur terminal, while our Clipper fares are cheaper than Larkspur's!
Blue and Gold Fleet ferry prices to Fisherman's Wharf from Sausalito are not affected, since they are a separate private company.
Local Marin Transit bus routes within Marin are not affected, since they are not managed by the Golden Gate Bridge District, the entity that is raising their fares.
