Two alerts on upcoming Sausalito Ferry changes for the Golden Gate Ferry. These changes do not apply to the Blue and Gold Fleet, which is completely separate and run by a private company.
Schedules: As of June 11 the Golden Gate Ferry summer schedule will take effect. There are no changes to the weekday schedule, but the weekend schedukle will have a few small adjustments in late afternoon:
— The 5:30 PM from Sausalito moves to 5:35 on weekends
— The 6:00 from San Francisco moves to 6:10 on weekends
— The 6:50 from Sausalito moves back to 6:45 on weekends
Unlike the small changes from the public Golden Gate Ferries, the private Blue and Gold Fleet radically changes its schedules each May and October. These changes have already been implemented for this year.
Fares: Most Golden Gate Ferry fares for Sausalito go up by 25 cents each way on July 1, 2012. Blue and Gold Fleet fares remain unchanged.
