A quick alert: They may have cleared by the time you read this but we've had two key Sausalito thoroughfares blocked today:
Alexander before Danes northbound, near the Golden Gate Bridge: Police action and a crash with a stolen car has closed Alexander. The suspects were apprehended by CHP and Park Rangers and taken to the hospital. Avoid the area if you can, since there is no good detour. The authorities hope to reopen the road by 4:30 PM. Bridgeway at Nevada Northbound: Road closed for emergency work after a 12-inch water main broke and flooded the area, flowing downhill by Mollie Stones and almost blocking Marinship Way. Police are directing traffic to an easy detour that brings you back to Bridgeway on Coloma. Map is below.
