Here's a mashup of videos from this year's return of the Herring Season after a hiatus. Of course, the herring come every year, but in 2011 there was no fishing due to concerns about fish populations. When we went to get a sandwich yesterday it was like filming a scene in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, and there was a line of sea lions off the Bridgeway Promenade!
Maybe we should call it the 2012 Seagull Season!
