The new Sausalito Homegrown Marin Market gathers local "indie" cooks and chefs to share the best offerings from their kitchens, and gives them the chance to sell directly consumers.
It's like a cross between a Culinary Club and Facebook. Guests pay a $5 fee and sign a waiver to acknowledge that this is like a pot luck dinner and the Health Department is not involved. Chefs get the chance to launch a business and develop an audience for their cuisine.
