OK, maybe we’re getting a little conspiratorial here, but as part of the Grand Opening celebration for the new Sausalito Police and Fire Dept. buildings at Johnson and Caledonia (and the re-opening of Caledonia’s southern entrance) you’ll have the opportunity to tour all of both facilities, top to bottom.
To top it all off, the Southern Marin Fire Dept. and the Sausalito Lion’s Club are cooking up a fantastic all you can eat Pancake Breakfast for visitors, at $6 a head and $3 for kids 3 years old and under.
And as a reminder of how far things have come at the corner of Johnson and Caledonia, here's a photo the City took when the old Fire Station was demolished two years ago!
