Chester Arnold is an accomplished artist who describes painting as a language and a craft, which he uses to explore and give perspectives on environmental and political issues.
His work has been the subject of articles in the San Francisco Chronicle, Artweek, the San Jose Mercury News, and Artforum. He received an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute (1987) and in addition to his studio work he teaches drawing and painting at the College of Marin.
