Sausalito Woman's Club Blood Drive Wed. May 5 at the Sausalito Yacht Club

Before you consume those precious fluids (i.e. Margaritas) on Cinco de Mayo in Sausalito, how about donating an even more precious resource that costs you nothing?
The Sausalito Woman's Club is once again sponsoring their annual blood drive, which will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sausalito Yacht Club, which is located next to the waiting area at the Sausalito Ferry pier. (It's actually closer to the pier than the Google map below shows.)
They're welcoming walk-ins, but If you'd like to pre-schdule a specific time to donate blood, you can call Barbara Rich at 383-5512.
But wait, there's more! Blood donors are automatically given a ticket for a raffle for two Gift Certificates. We don 't know where they can be redeemed, but the ones they gave out last year were good for dinner at the Sausalito Yacht Club, which has fabulous views of the Bay and San Francisco.
Kudos to the Sausalito Woman's Club and the Sausalito Yacht Club for putting on this important program.
