Opening Day on the Bay is Sunday, April 25

You know that feeling of looking out at the Bay and seeing ten times as many boats as usual? And then you think about the date and you realize it's Fleet Week or Opening Day on the Bay and you realize why everybody's out there?

Well, Sunday April 25 is one of those days. Over 150 decorated boats will march — I mean sail — in parade formation around the Bay. Downtown Sausalito and the Bridgeway Promenade will be great places to see the boats.

The blessing of the fleet will occur between 10:30 and Noon in front of the Corinthian Yacht Club in Raccoon Strait, so before and after that time will probably be ideal for watching from Sausalito.
