"No Impact" Opening Night Reception for Sausalito Film Festival at Cavallo Point Aug. 21

The inaugural Sausalito Film Festival's Opening Night reception is being described as a ‘No Impact’ Gala, presented in collaboration with the Cavallo Point Lodge's Michelin Star restaurant, Murray Circle. The event will feature organic sustainable foods and delicacies from local Marin Farms, wines from local wineries and live music.

The ‘No Impact’ theme of the gala has two roots. The reception will be a candle-lit, green event, and will include the screening of the film No Impact Man, directed by Laura Gabbert and Justin Schein. The documentary covers the journey of a materialistic New York family that tries to turn their lives upside down to achieve an important goal: live for an entire year while making no environmental impact on the world.
