Sausalito Stories Online Literary Magazine Upgrades Technology
When we started our Sausalito Stories Online Literary Magazine this month we were delighted with the feedback we received for our initial mystery story, "Barge Right In" by Riette Gallienne.
What we were not happy with was the readability of the story in the standard website format. A system designed to present concise, information-packed articles does not have the same readability you need for magazine-format short fiction.
After doing some research, we are now using Scribd's iPaper technology to present Sausalito Stories. We'd love to hear your feedback, but we find it makes fiction far easier to read online, and also supports downloading and emailing stories.
Coming up in our August issue is another Riette Gallienne mystery story based on recent local events, "The Gordian Yacht." When a huge, mysterious yacht appears anchored off Sausalito, what chain reactions will it set in motion that lead to a daring crime?
Wow, first a big barge and crane and now a mysterious yacht. I wonder where Riette gets her mystery ideas?
