Amy's Cafe to Take Old Peter Pan Donuts Space

The Sausalito Planning Commission has approved the conditional use and construction permits for a new restaurant called Amy's Cafe to take the spot at 1403 Bridgeway that was occupied by Peter Pan Donuts for over a generation, from 1981 through early 2008. The location is only two blocks from another new lunch place, Cibo, which just recently opened.

Like Cibo, Amy's Cafe is a small place that will serve breakfast (croissants, omelettes) and lunch (sandwiches), although they say they may eventually offer a light dinner. They also have both inside and outdoor seating.

As an homage to the prior tenant's longevity, the new owners will include one kind of donut on the menu.
