Guidelines for Submitting Work to OurSausalito.com

Featured Artists of OurSausalito.com
Sausalito has a long, deep tradition as a home and studio space for wonderful artists in a wide variety of media. OurSausalito.com periodically features artists who live or work here, or whose work focuses on depicting Sausalito. Past media include painting, drawing, photography, digital imagery and sculpture, but we are open to any category.
We do not accept payment for the Featured Artist pages, and we select artists based on submissions and on recommendations from respected artists in the community.
General Art and Photography
OurSausalito.com features art and photographs that tie to our theme of "Everything about Sausalito, and only about Sausalito." Images may already jhave been published elsewhere, but you must own the rights to the images you submit to us. We acquire no rights or interest in the images we publish apart from your granting us the right to place them on our website. Copyright remains with you as the rights holder. Submitting an image to us for use on the site represents you granting us permission to put it on an OurSausalito.com page.
We cannot pay for images we use, but do offer on-screen credit for artists and a link to your website. We will consider any image from any artist, but we have a set of priorities that define our choices.
* We give top priority to artists who live or work in Sausalito. We especially like displaying images of Sausalito, but for local artists will consider any subject or theme.
* For non-Sausalito artists, an image that shows Sausalito or somehow ties to Sausalito is most likely to be accepted.
Images may be submitted via email to this address. File sizes should be kept as small as possible to speed screen loads, and we may adapt large images to meet website hosting requirements. We will attempt to respond as quickly as possible to all submissions. There may be a delay between our acceptance of an image and its publication on the site.
