Northpoint Coffee Has Closed
Is it the economy? The tough credit market for bank loans? Is it the desire to wrap up a business at the end of the year to avoid all the tax hassles the new year brings? Is it the time when leases are running out?
We are sad to add to the list of recent restaurant closures in Sausalito the name of Northpoint Coffee Shop, which was right on the water next door to Paradise Bay on Bridgeway just north of downtown. Their free wi-fi and great view were a welcome bonus to stopping by.
Northpoint joins recently-shuttered Rustico, Pomodoro Pizza and Gaylord’s on our list of closed Sausalito restaurants.
Even in Sausalito — or perhaps especially here — running a restaurant against such strong entrenched competitors is a very hard job.
