Robin Sweeny Park
Just down the hill from Sausalito City Hall (which can be reached by steps at the back of the park), Robin Sweeny Park is best known as the place where people from all over town play basketball. Sometimes it’s a regular group who play each week, other times it’s a mother and son playing HORSE, but those baskets get lots of use.
Between the playground and the basketball courts lies a wide lawn that can be a great place to relax or to toss a Frisbee.
During the summer; once a month; there are concerts for kids here on Saturday mornings. Our Concerts for Kids page will have the current details.
Note: On the Google map below nearby Dunphy Park is labeled correctly, but Robin Sweeny Park is a blank space. The park fills a city block below Sausalito City Hall, and if you press the SAT button on the Google Map to see the satellite view you’ll see it.
