Small areas for parking. No rest room, phone or other facilities, though bathroom is nearby up the hill at the Conzelman-McCullough Roundabout Parking Lot.

Location

This small parking turnout and view area sits below the peak of Slacker Hill on Conzelman Road, not far from where you reach the Conzelman-McCullough Roundabout (which has a trailhead, parking lot and rest room). The lot holds only about ten cars. Some sources also refer to the hilltop above this area as Slackers Hill.

The Slacker Hill Parking Lot & Golden Gate View Area sits on top of cliffs facing San Francisco across the Golden Gate strait. Although the steep cliffs hide the shoreline below, this spot lies directly above Kirby Cove. There is not a direct trail down the cliff face, however, and Kirby Cove Road links to Conzelman Road not far from Battery Spencer.
