Date: Saturday, December 4, 2021
Time: Two seatings, at 8:30 AM and at 10:00 AM. Santa arrives at Sausalito Breakfast with Santa for the 8:30 seating, and the 10:00 seating gets to usher Santa off on his return trip to the North Pole. Be sure to bring your camera (or your phone, or your sketchpad and charcoal) for pictures with Santa!
To attend Sausalito Breakfast with Santa, you’ll need to make an RSVP through the Sausalito Park and Rec Dept. website or you can all them at 415-289-4152.
Note for 2021: To take extra care due to COVID, this year’s event will limit the number of available seats to 82 (5 smaller tables for parties of 2-4, and 7 larger tables for groups of 5-6). Groups larger than 6 cannot be accommodated this year. Children under age 2 that will sit on someone’s lap for the entirety of the event are OK, and highchairs also do not count towards the seating limits. Please don’t ask for a particular table, because they simply don’t have the staff to process and oversee such requests.
Menu: Santa’s wonderful elves will be cooking up pancakes with an optional sausage, with milk and juice to drink.
Place: Sausalito Yacht Club, adjacent to the Sausalito Ferry pier (See map below)
Cost: $15 per person for Sausalito residents, $18 for non-residents, kids under age 2 eat for free. This price has miraculously not gone up during the pandemic.
One of Sausalito’s great Holiday traditions is the arrival of Santa Claus on his pre-flight scouting mission to Sausalito, where he stops long enough to share breakfast with local kids. Children get to make holiday crafts and talk with Santa, and meanwhile some familiar looking elves will serve a delicious breakfast of pancakes with sausage.
You can also bring a toy to donate to the Marin Performing Stars Holiday Toy Drive, a very worthy long-term local charity.
Special thanks to the Sausalito Park and Rec Dept. and the Sausalito Yacht Club for sponsoring this great Sausalito Breakfast with Santa tradition!
