Major Events in Sausalito
ONGOING: First Saturday of Each Month, Year-Round — Biscotti and Cars Classic Car event, which draws car enthusiasts for all over Northern California.
February 10, 2024 — Sausalito’s Souper Bowl, the day before that other super something, where several city blocks of restaurants compete for your vote and one ticket lets you try every one of them!
February, 2024 — Sausalito Herring Festival, offering you a choice of an in-person event with a gourmet dinner or free attendance via Zoom.
March 30, 2024 — Sausalito Easter Parade and Egg Hunt down Caledonia St. to Dunphy Park.
April 27, 2024 — Spring Sausalito City-Wide Yard Sale in the MLK School parking lot — was originally scheduled for April 13 but postponed due to rain. Note: The Fall yard sale has now been eliminated, so this is the only such event each year.
ONGOING: Every Sunday, Summer, 2024 — Sausalito Farmers’ Market, at Dunphy Park.
ONGOING: June – September, 2024 — Jazz and Blues by the Bay, held each Friday evening near the ferry pier.
ONGOING: June, 2024 — Sausalito Pride celebrations, exhibits, receptions and concerts.
June 22, 2024 — Juneteenth Festival in Marin City, celebrating the emancipation of the last African American slaves in the United States
July 4, 2024 — Sausalito Fireworks and 4th of July Parade and Picnic
August, 2024 — Galilee Harbor Community Maritime Day
Labor Day — The Sausalito Art Festival is, at least for now, is no longer taking place.
September 21, 2024 — Annual Sausalito Chili Cook-off
October 4-6, 2024 — The Sausalito Boat Show
October 11-13, 2024 — Fleet Week Blue Angels Air Shows and Parade of Ships under the Golden Gate Bridge (For special parking information, please click here.)
October 19, 2024 — A Toast to Sausalito, a Beer, Wine and Spirits festival held on Caledonia St., with 3 stages of entertainment, 50 art and craft merchants and 1,500 tasting packages. If you’re a longtime fan of Sausalito, this is the spiritual successor to the old Caledonia Street Spring Faire, moved to autumn to disguise its roots.
October 31, 2024 — Sausalito Halloween Parade, complete with a trick or treating area at the finish line, a pumpkin carving contest, a best dog costume contest and much merriment for all.

Ongoing Sausalito Events
Sausalito Historical Society: Exhibit Room is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on the 2nd Floor of the Sausalito City Hall, 420 Litho Street.
The Historic WWII Marinship Exhibit at the Bay Model is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM — 4:00 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 Am — 5:00 PM. You’ll see photos and artifacts that were designed by the US Army Corps and Sausalito Historical Society to tell the story of the Marinship shipyard during WWII. 2100 Bridgeway. 415-332-3871.
Additional Marinship historical photos and information are displayed in the front lobby of the building at 10 Liberty Ship Way in Sausalito, one block south of the Bay Model.
Ice House Information Center and Historical Exhibition holds Sausalito history, culture, and gifts. Open every day from 11:30 AM — 4:00 PM. 780 Bridgeway. 415-332-0505. (Currently closed for renovation)
