The Sausalito Art Festival has announced that its opening day Main Stage bands for the 2013 Labor Day Weekend will be Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Crystal Bowersox and Lisa-Marie Presley on Saturday, August 31st.
Creedence Clearwater Revisited is the band founded by former Creedence Clearwater Revival bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford. They began getting together and playing for fun and then realized the audience was there to go on tour. After a series of lawsuits over the band's name with John Fogerty they eventually won the right (after some time as "Cosmo's Factory") to the name.
