Flashmob Thriller Dance Performance in Sausalito Sat. Oct. 24

Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM — Performance at 5:30 PM Sharp
Place: Gabrielson Park, Sausalito (See Map below)
Cost: Free, but Donations are Tax Deductible
Thrill The World is the 3rd annual worldwide flashmob performance of Michael Jackson's “Thriller” designed to set the Guinness World Record for largest simultaneous dance.
The event is co-sponsored by Artsboretum (a local charity seeking to restore the old Sausalito Record Plant as a community arts center) and the Sausalito City Parks & Recreation Dept.
The organizers are recruiting zombie makeup artists to support participants.
Artsboretum is a program of International Humanities Center, a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.

Here is our schedule for THRILL DAY - October 24th, 2009:
10:00 am to 1:00 pm – Last Chance to learn the Dance : Sausalito Park and Rec Exercise Room – 420 Litho, on the Bee and Caledonia side, downstairs from the Library – look to the left of seascape mural, for the door that says RECREATION above it.
1:00 – 3:00 pm – Break – a.k.a Zombie Feed/Walk/Ride/Rest in Peace – Where: anywhere you like. Two hour break between the morning rehearsal and afternoon get ready for the big moment. You can choose to eat lunch, walk or ride down to Gabrielson Park, which is a 9 block walk from our morning rehearsal – good time to "get your zombie on" – if you happen to patronize any of the neighborhood haunts, be sure to tell them all about Thrill The World/Artsboretum/350 – maybe they will want to sponsor our event next year!
THRILL SITE: Gabrielson Park, Downtown Sausalito
3:00 – set up starts – SIGN IN , prep and last minute rehearsals
3:50 – "350" group photo #1
4:00 – sign in continues, rehearsals
5:00 – get into formation, count for world record – video prep
5:20 – Mari calls into TTW conference call for countdown – start official video
5:30:00 – 5:35:57 – THRILL TIME – WORLDWIDE THRILLER DANCE
5:40 – "350" group photo #2
5:45 – 6:00 pm – SIGN OUT for world record count – IMPORTANT
6:00 – Leave Gabrielson Park exactly the way we found it – so we can Thrill The World again next year!
