TV Shoot to Affect Traffic Wednesday, April 29
The City of Sausalito is trying to get the word out that NBC will be shooting a pilot for a new series called Parenthood (based on the 1989 Steve Martin movie) on Wednesday, April 29.
They’ll be shooting at Liberty Dock in the morning, and then at City Hall and the IDESST Hall on Caledonia in the afternoon. Traffic, parking and sanity may all be affected along Caledonia between Napa and Locust, especially judging by recent events when Adam Sandler Seth Godin filmed some scenes for their upcoming movie “Funny People” here.
Preparations have already started, and they’re cleaning up the outside entrance to the Edgewater Room at City Hall and placing some props in Robin Sweeny Park.
The City has given the crew permission to begin setups as early as 7:00 am on Wednesday, and they could go as late as Thursday morning at 4:00 am. They say any exterior shots they do during late night hours will be quiet and confined to the area on City Hall grounds.
