Seafood Peddler Restaurant
In 2012 Seafood Peddler relocated to Sausalito from its long-time home in San Rafael, where it took over the long tradition of fine seafood established by its predecessor Dominic’s (and was succeeded by Grateful Dead alumnus Phil Lesh‘s now-closed music-focused Terrapin Crossroads).
In addition to their indoor and patio dining they also have a fresh fish market inside the restaurant, which occupies the second floor of the building. On a recent lunch here our group had a great, very fresh crab louis with a big serving of crab (though like all crab louis’ it was expensive), great fresh Fish and Chips and an excellent chicken sandwich.
The views of the yacht harbor across the street are a nice backdrop for the seafood, and they also have a nice bar area. One of our editors calls Seafood Peddler her favorite dinner spot in Sausalito.
Something else that people should know about Seafood Peddler? Is the Peddler name a subliminal appeal to local bike riders? Disagree with any of our suggestions? Please let us know!
